System Requirements

Before installing and using FINNEX AI, ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for Microsoft 365 Excel, as our application is integrated with it. Below are the system requirements for Microsoft 365 Excel:

Windows

• Operating System: Windows 10 SAC, Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019, Windows 11

• Processor: 1.6 GHz or faster, dual-core

• Memory: 4 GB RAM (64-bit), 2 GB RAM (32-bit)

• Hard Disk: 4 GB of available disk space

• Display: 1280 x 768 screen resolution

• Graphics: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 2.0 or higher for Windows 10, WDDM 1.3 or higher for Windows 11

• Browser: Current version of Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox

• .NET Version: Some features may require .NET 3.5 or 4.6 and higher to also be installed

macOS

• Operating System: macOS 10.14 or later

• Processor: Intel processor

• Memory: 4 GB RAM

• Hard Disk: 10 GB of available disk space; HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) or APFS

• Display: 1280 x 800 screen resolution

• Browser: Current version of Safari, Chrome, or Firefox

Additional Requirements for Both Platforms

• Internet Connection: Required for installation, updates, and some features

• Other: Functionality may require additional hardware or services such as a Microsoft account.

Compatibility Notes

Compatibility

• Microsoft 365 Versions Earlier Than 16.0.11629 on Windows 10: If using an older version of Microsoft 365 Excel (before version 16.0.11629), the FINNEX AI Assistant may not launch properly and will display a white screen.

• Microsoft 365 Without Edge WebView2 (Chromium-based): In Microsoft 365 version 16.0.11629 or later, Edge WebView2 must be installed on Windows 10 for proper functionality. Without this, users may experience a white screen when launching the add-in.

Browser Compatibility for Web Add-ins

• FINNEX AI Assistant relies on web technologies to function within Excel. Please ensure that supported browsers are used, as detailed in Browsers Used by Office Web Add-ins.

Internet Explorer 11

• If your environment is using Internet Explorer 11, please refer to the IE 11 Testing Documentation to ensure compatibility.
